From Logs to the Lumber

Every project starts with a tree. Here’s what happens when you don’t let good wood go to waste.
This is the work. Logs that came down in a storm, trees cleared off a building site, timber that had been sitting on a property for years waiting for someone to do something with it. HD Cuts mills it on-site and leaves behind lumber people actually build with.

Browse through the projects below. If you’ve got logs that look anything like what you see here, reach out. There’s a good chance your wood has more potential than you think.

The Best Part of This Job

Some of the most satisfying moments in this work happen a few weeks after the job is done, when a customer sends a photo of what they built with the lumber. A dining table. A finished barn. A mantel above a fireplace that came from a tree that grew on the same land for fifty years.

That’s what this is about. Not just milling logs. Turning something that could’ve been a burn pile into something that sticks around.

Your Logs Could Look Like This

If you’ve got timber sitting on your property and a project in mind, let’s talk about what it could become.
